Our mission
As a brand, we want to make sure our impact on the planet is as small as possible.
We want to create truly beautiful and useful things but would never want to do it at the detriment of sustainability. Here are a few steps we have taken to ensure our products have a small carbon footprint.
Made in Britain
Everything is made in the UK to improve our carbon footprint and minimise importation of goods. We design everything in Norwich and our manufacturers are all in Britain. We like to keep things local.
No waste
We are committed to minimising waste by producing our textiles in small runs, so you can enjoy unique and one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect your personal style. We print exactly the quantity needed for the production of our cushions so nothing goes to landfill. We re-use packaging where possible.
We plant trees
We know we are not perfect, and to be truly sustainable, we need to be more circular in our approach. In an effort to help the planet, we have however started a small forest and have been planting trees. You can discover it here: https://tree-nation.com/profile/maison-lisette
Eco packaging
All the packaging we use is either recycled, compostable or recyclable. We sometimes reuse boxes we have received, so we apologise if they're not always beautiful.
